Are the aliens coming?
Well, since everyone else is asking - I guess I had to ask too. It's likely if you've been paying any attention at all this year, you've probably wondered the same thing…
Back in May, the Pentagon released a batch of UFO files - - - documents, photos, and military videos of what the government now calls "UAPs" (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, if you like your acronyms spelled out). Just this week (September 18, 2026), they've released even more videos. And President Trump has talked about releasing still more. The thing that bothers me the most about these "new disclosures" is this: every time another file drops, somebody on television hints that your world is about to be rocked. That you're going to have to believe something different.
Especially you Christians… Yep, those Christians are gonna have to reconsider many of the bedrock teachings of their faith!
Well I want to give you some comfort today. The Bible tells us to be "wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16), and wisdom starts with knowing the truth. So here it is.
The First Warning Jesus Gave
When the disciples asked Jesus what the end of the world would look like, He gave them quite a list. False christs. Wars and rumours of wars. Nation against nation. Famines, pestilences, earthquakes.
As a younger Christian, I used to skip right past the first thing He said, because all that other stuff was so juicy. But look at it:
"Take heed that no man deceive you" (Matthew 24:4).
Before a single war. Before a single earthquake. Deception.
And I believe with everything in me that all this alien business is nothing but a grand deception.
What They Actually Are
Now don't get me wrong. I do believe something is happening. People are seeing things. People are experiencing things.
But these beings are interdimensional. Outer space has nothing to do with it. (There are actually secular scientists who agree with that part, believe it or not.) It's about the only explanation that makes sense of how they show up. No spacecraft crossing the galaxy at impossible speeds - - - where if they hit one little rock, they're toast - - - completely destroyed. That's a fact, by the way.
The Bible already told us where they're coming from nearly 2,000 years ago: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12).
The unseen spirit realm is once again enjoying stepping into the "seen" physical realm and messing with people.
The Detail That Settled It for Me
A couple of years ago I watched a film called Alien Intrusion: Unmasking a Deception, from Creation Ministries International. Brother Gary Bates does a good work with that wonderful ministry. It's hosted by a face you'll probably recognize - - - John Schneider, from his Dukes of Hazzard days. Evidently he has turned to Christ for salvation and he decided to use his talents for something that matters.
The film interviews real people with real experiences. Abductions. Visitations in the bedroom. Something resembling an alien messing with them.
And here's the takeaway that gave me such peace. (Spoiler alert.)
Every time one of those people named the name of Jesus Christ - - - "Save me, Jesus!" "Help me, Jesus!" - - - it stopped.
Not in a minute or two. Immediately. Cold turkey. Done.
The film even talks to skeptics, folks who may not be believers at all, who've had to admit there's something to this Jesus thing.
Little green men from another galaxy wouldn't run from the name of a Nazarene carpenter. But demons would.
That doesn't surprise me one bit. "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow" (Philippians 2:9-10).
Every knee. Including theirs. In fact, James tells us even demons have enough sense to shake in their boots! "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." (James 2:19)
Why Now?
Here's my opinion, and I'm just gonna be up front about it: all this talk about aliens is predictable. We are so close to the end of the age - - - so close to the church being taken off the earth - - - that the world has to be pre-programmed. All this alien junk is a psy-op if I've ever seen it.
Think about it. When millions of people disappear in the twinkling of an eye, the world is going to need an explanation. And I believe they'll blame aliens.
So the groundwork is being laid right now.
I'm not saying President Trump is trying to deceive anybody. He may know what this is. He may have no clue. I don't know. But I do know where it's coming from. It's coming from the enemy of our souls.
So when somebody says, "Oh, you Christians need to rethink that" - - - no, we don't.
No matter what they release, we're just believing what the Bible has always told us.
A Word to Mom and Dad

Pop you some popcorn, sit back with your spouse, and watch it like a movie night. Your eyes will be opened to what Satan is doing right now.
One very important caution though: Unless your kids are high school age or above, you may want to watch it with just adults in the room first. Some of the experiences that are shared on the film could trouble younger viewers, especially lost ones. But if you're saved and you've prayed and asked the Lord to protect you and your home, you should be okay.
The Only Reason to Be Concerned
I want to be rather frank with you concerning all this talk of aliens: I'm not worried, friend. And I don't want you to be.
The only way you should be concerned is if you don't know Christ as your Savior. That's such a dangerous place to be right now!
We all hate to hear the word "cancer."
We've all got a bigger problem than cancer. It's a sin problem.
And the only cure is to have our sins forgiven by the Savior who was sent to pay that debt.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).
If He's been dealing with you, it's time to get it right. Before all this plays out. Before millions of Christians disappear and the world starts blaming the sky.
I saw a church sign on the side of the road years ago that read: "Get right, before you get left." Wiser words have never been spoken!
Give your heart and life to Christ before it's too late.
And whatever they're calling aliens today, tomorrow, or ten years from now - - - don't be deceived. Now you know what they REALLY are.
